We're here most weeks, not passing through. This is a suburb of large Federation-era blocks near the Gordon Centre and the Pacific Highway village, plus newer apartments closer to the station.
That mix means our vans carry gear for both ends of the job list: rewireable fuse boards pulled out of a Queen Anne cottage, and a data point run into a near-new unit above the shops.
The local station puts this stretch on the North Shore line, with the Pacific Highway carrying bus routes and most of the through traffic. Parking near the Village Arcade gets tight on a Saturday, so we plan our run times around it rather than turning up during the rush.
